Rainbow Play Cafe opened its doors in May 2023, providing New Westminster families with a new space to play, connect, and relax. We offer delicious pastries, healthy snacks, and coffee for you to enjoy.

Our kid-friendly play cafe is designed to be a welcoming space for both parents and caregivers. While your children play in our interactive and fun play area (designed for ages 6 months to 6 years), you can relax, socialize, or even get some work done.

Xanat Guiot is the mom-entrepreneur behind the new Rainbow Play Café. Originally from Mexico, where she worked in Marketing, Xanat moved to Canada and is now a mother of two. 

Her experience as a mother highlighted the need for a safe and supportive space for parents with young children. 

"After my first child was born, I realized how fulfilling motherhood can be, but also how isolating and stressful it can get," Xanat shares. "That's why I created this space, where I want other parents to feel supported. It's a place where they can meet on those rainy and cold days without having to worry about the kids being bored or too loud—a place where kids can develop, interact, play, and learn."
